Kai Stransky
As Founder of Big Wave Industries, Kai is the visionary. He is dedicated to creating an experience to help people recover and feel better. Through the use of recovery tools, Kai aims to relieve pain and stress in clients’ minds and bodies to achieve success in everyday life.
Kai has worked in cyber security and technology for over 15 years, while maintaining a passion for training Jujitsu and MMA. After seeing first hand the need for active recovery, rest, and mental wellbeing across both fields, he started taking care of himself with all the tools he could find. This exploded into a passion; he wants to help his local community in Austin, TX get access to wellness and athletic recovery tools, so they can optimize their lives.
Kelly Morgan
Kelly, the Co-Founder of Big Wave Industries, is focused on helping clients build resilience, so that they can train more effectively and feel alive in their bodies, while building practices that create long term health. Kelly has specifically been studying psychology, nervous system responses and Somatics for nearly half a decade. As a trauma-aware, somatically-oriented facilitator, she has been dedicated to learning how the recovery processes heals the body and mind together.
Having chronic physical health issues since she was a young child, Kelly gravitated towards any tools that could help with Fibromyalgia and connective-tissue disorder. Western Medicine doctors said there was nothing that could change either diagnosis besides pain medication, but that didn’t sit well with Kelly. Finding health tools like ice baths, compression and sauna were such a game changer for speeding recovery and changing her daily physical symptoms so significantly that Kelly realized she wanted to bring recovery to as many people as she could.
